POSITION:  Experienced individuals to perform and manage in vitro and ex vivo plate based assays; train junior scientists to support discovery programs; manage projects and communicate data/report to collaborators.  RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop, validate and perform various in vitro and ex vivo assays  - Conduct primary screening, secondary/functional assays, and mechanism of action studies to support drug discovery programs- Led a project team in study design and trouble shooting technical problems- Responsible for interpretating and communicating data as well as preparing study reports REQUIREMENTS: - MS in Biological Sciences with extensive laboratory experience in              assay (biochemical and/or cell based) development - Independent and able to manage multiple responsibilities and work in a team-oriented, multi-disciplinary environment- Ability to manage/lead a small project team  - Excellent oral/written English communication skills-experience with pain assays are a plus
