BASIC FUNCTION 基本職責
? Assists director in creating a vision for their area(s) of pharmaceutical process research and development.
? Demonstrates knowledge and experience in process development in role as project team leader. In addition, creates new and innovative ways of doing things, including championing new technologies and scientific approaches to problems.
? Establishes and maintains contact with partners in other departments. Ensures that R&D activities for his projects are aligned with needs of other functions.
? Champions R&D safety culture.
? Line management responsibility for a group scientist.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES 勝任能力
? Strong working knowledge and track record of delivery in pharmaceutical or fine chemical manufacturing for the regulated pharmaceutical chemical market.
? Conversant in current process development tools and software, including QbD, DOE and PAT.
? Understanding of modern analytical instrumentation, pharmacy and related IP/regulatory knowledge
? A record of successful application of novel technologies, new materials or new equipment to API synthesis and preparation.
? Continuing record of responsibility and leadership. Demonstrated record of excellent team participation.
? Effective management experience and techniques.
? Fluent in Mandarin and English.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills and trouble shooting skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 教育及工作經驗
? Doctoral level degree or equivalent experience majored in organic chemistry, or pharmacy or applied chemistry and the related.
? Minimum 5 years’ experience in R&D department of major pharmaceutical company or fine chemical company for generic APIs or ANADs.
