PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operations management
? Design with the region Head of Delivery Operations the overall operations processes and systems for supporting and sustaining deployment of leadership, management and transversal learning solutions in assigned countries; requires the assessment and harmonization of operations to apply general standards and unique processes
? Drive optimization of resources and cost efficiencies as results of operations re-engineering, process standardization, and new operational strategies for their assigned countries
? Help manage the effective and timely transition of all global, regional and local programs and project commitments to the new operating model in partnership with current and new owners
? Take accountability for problem solving of regular, daily operational issues by mapping short and long term solutions as well as continuous improvement process; be able to partner with other COE leads/functions what they need to own and/or drive with the business/HR in resolving issues surfaced or raised
2. Session deployments
? Partner with Curriculum leads in supporting pilots of global and regional programs and the transition of processes and ownership for sustaining in countries assigned post pilot stages
? Partner with the Head of Delivery Operations to align standard session deployment processes, resourcing and service level agreements for different global and regional program offerings
? Assess existing support and resources in countries assigned while implementing standard operational processes to fill in gaps and provide alternative solutions or arrangements where needed
3. People management (if applicable)
? Manage extended team of contract workers, partial FTES or interns in remote sites by applying standard management principles; also applying the Leadership & Management Development COE performance standards in job designs and expectations
? Apply LEAD competencies and practice global performance management principles in line with Sanofi general management practice
? Map staff’s stakeholders in their respective country/geo scope and coach them on effective stakeholder management, partnering and service delivery; likewise build personal connections to key stakeholders to get direct customer feedback on staff and overall operations execution
4. Session quality/metrics
? Partner with curriculum leads in collecting feedbacks on session quality, analyze trends and issues over time, and help identify systemic root causes for resolution, i.e., design, deployment, follow through
? Apply general metrics/KPIs for monitoring overall operations health, capacity and capabilities, i.e., session volumes, attendance and cancellations rates, resource capacities (vendors/instructors), process throughput-times, etc.; also support quality improvements with comparative data
? Periodically review the quality implementation, overall investment and cost efficiency for HR and the business in line with Sanofi operational excellence goals.
? Define needed policies, standard procedures and governance infrastructure to keep Sanofi legal and compliant to avoid people issues and audit findings.
5. Engage and contribute to regional and corporate projects
? Contribute to key projects for the company as led by the region HR, by corporate TM or the broader global People & Leadership Development COE.
? Demonstrate positive behaviors and leadership skills to cooperate transversally and support local execution
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
? Experience and knowledge in operations, quality systems, and continuous improvement
? Knowledge in quality management & methodologies
? Effective stakeholder management and interpersonal communications
? Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
? Results and detail orientation via proven project management and execution
? Ability to work and collaborate in a matrix, international and diverse environment
? Genuine interest in operations and quality improvement
? Some experience in managing junior staff a plus
? Effective written and verbal English

? Location: major site/location in Greater China, SEA and JPAC
? Department: Reports to the Head of Delivery Operations for Leadership and Management Development CoE, within the People & Leadership Development COE, Sanofi Human Resources.
