Microbiological Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute microbiological monitoring programs for raw materials, packaging materials, finished products and production environment

• Preparation of media and solutions. Perform media promotion test

• Endotoxine test

• Sterility test

• Inoculation and conserve of bacteria strains

• Bacteria identification

• Perform cleaning and maintenance for instrument in the lab

• Lab cleaning and 5S

• Prepare documentation, e.g. test method, SOPs, validation protocols and technical reports

• Lead or participate deviation investigation and provide technical support

• Microbiological lab continuous improvement 

• Give lab colleagues support and guidance for testing techniques on daily basis

• Participate professional training for lab staff 

• Participate microbiological basic knowledge training for people within manufacturing plant

• Control and coordinate calibration activities of equipment in microbiological lab

• Coordinate validation activities of equipment in production lines

• Management of bio-indicators in lab

• Enhance leadership to assist/support the first line manager in leading the associated teams, when required

• Initiatives improvement issues within the area

• Take professional skill training

• SHE Responsibility &GMP Compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in microbiology or related subjects

• Advanced microbiological analysis techniques

• 2 year working experience in pharmaceutical company; Experience in M-lab

• 4 years working experience in pharmaceutical company; Experience in M-lab

• Good English command 

• Good Computer skill

• Hard working attitude, sense of responsibility and team work spirit

• The engineer should assist/support the first line manager in leading the associated teams, when required
